This project involved adapting an existing building by Edward Durell Stone (architect of the MOMA in NYC and the Kennedy Center in DC) to become the new home of the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. We partnered with Arnold Glas from Germany to provide glazing with internal UV markings.
The home of Chicago’s Windy City Bulls in the NBA’s G League, LS Glass used Kawneer’s 1600 curtain wall to build a circular glass enclosed tower at the main entrance.
The city of Chicago commissioned this station to replace two existing stations, each over one hundred years old. LS Glass was responsible for the striking overhead glazing, provided by Pulp Studio, which undulates along the length of the station.
